When power to the window motor has been interrupted it may be necessary to reset the power window switch.
- With the car on, push down on the window switch till the window is fully open. Make sure to hold the switch down for at least 2 seconds after the window has fully opened. You may hear a small tick noise.
- Pull up on the window switch till the window is fully closed and hold again for 2 seconds. If the reset has been successful, One-Touch Auto Up & Down should now be operational.
If installing a used motor or the motor has been disconnected from the regulator you may need to reset the motor. Brand new motors should be preset from the factory.
- With the motor disconnected from the regulator and the car on. Connect the master switch and motor to the car.
- Operate the window in the up direction for 4 seconds or 6-10 revolutions of the drive gear. You should hear a tick noise, this is the memory being reset.
- Bolt the motor onto the regulator in the down position and re-install. DO NOT POWER THE MOTOR.
- With motor and regulator installed, pull the switch till the window is fully closed and hold for 1-2 seconds.
- If the reset has been successful, One-Touch Auto Up & Down should now be operational.
