RETURN POLICY

We offer a 30 day return policy for the price of the motor, if the product is returned within 30 days and meets the following conditions:
1. The motor is sent back in the original packaging to prevent damage during transit.
2. The window motor is in it's original condition including all stickers and attachments.
3. The window motor has not been fitted.

To obtain a refund, please ensure the above conditions are met and lodge a Return Request via our online form.

Once received, we will inspect the motor and process the refund within 7 days of having received the motor.

Please note shipping is non refundable.

 

EXCHANGE POLICY

We offer a 30 day Exchange Policy in case you have purchased the wrong motor.

Please contact us to advise of the motor you require, and then complete the Returns and Warranties online form and include the motor you require in the additional information field.

Once the original motor is returned we will dispatch the exchange motor if the following conditions are met: 
1. The motor is sent back in the original packaging to prevent damage during transit.
2. The window motor is in it's original condition including all stickers and attachments.
3. The window motor has not been fitted.

Please include a copy of the original invoice with the return motor so we are able to identify the exchange.

We will not issue a credit on the exchange motor if the returned motor is not in a new condition. All unpaid invoices will be due and payable.
 

WARRANTY POLICY

All our window motors come with a 1 - 5 year replacement warranty. Please refer to your listing for information on the warranty period.

A warranty claim is eligible only if it meets the below criteria:

1. The motor is not powering, or,
2. The motor is not working as it should.
3. The motor does not display signs of burnout or water damage.

If our window motor fails within the specified warranty period, please complete our online return form and follow our email instructions to return the motor to us for assessment.

Please note that the warranty is void in the event of:

1. Motor burnout

Motor burnout can occur when the motor is forced to operate outside it's normal scope of use. Some examples of a motor burnout include, but are not limited to:
a. Holding the switch in UP or DOWN position even after the window has reached it's position.
b. Incorrect installation
c. Incompatible window regulator, as our motors are suited to genuine window regulators.
d. Faulty master switch powering the motor even after it has reached it's open or close position.
Motor burnout can typically be identified by an acrid burnt smell coming from the motor due to the cooking of the components inside. 


2. Incorrect installation

Incorrect installation can cause premature wear and tear on moving or electrical parts shortening its life span. It can also cause a motor to burnout. As our warranty does not cover incorrect installation of a motor, please ensure your motor is installed by a licensed professional to prevent incorrect installation.

3. Water damage

Water damage typically occurs through being submerged or faulty or damaged weather seals.

 

In the event of a failed motor due to any of the above circumstances, we can only offer you another motor at a discounted rate.

Subaru Forester / Impreza / Liberty / Tribeca window motor warranty claims:

Please note, as per our warranty disclaimer, our warranty does not cover window motor burnout. Burnout is a very common issue with Subaru window motors, with the cause being an aging/faulty Master Switch. Proof of purchase and installation of a new Master Switch will be required for your warranty claim.

In the case our window motor has failed, please complete our online return form and follow our instructions to return the motor to us for assessment along with your proof of purchase and installation of a new Master Switch. However, please note that in the case of motor burnout the warranty will be void.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

We use Australia Post for our shipping and endeavor to dispatch the parcel on the same day of the order if received by 13:00 AEST.

International: Standard or Express (depending on selection) with tracking.
