How to Tell if You Need a P or Q Shape Window Motor
Some replacement window motors are available in two mirror-opposite versions: P shape and Q shape. The quickest way to tell them apart is to check the motor from the rear side, not the gear side.
Why the Shape Matters
P and Q motors are mirror-opposite versions. Choosing the wrong one can stop the motor lining up correctly with the regulator or mounting points.
