A faulty or aging master window switch is one of the most common causes of window motor failure in Subaru Tribeca, Forester, Impreza, Liberty and WRX models.For the best reliability, replace the master switch when installing the new motor. Proof of purchase and installation of a replacement master switch is required for warranty claims involving electrical burnout.
