Check the Master Switch Before Installing

Window motor burnout is a known issue with this model. A faulty or aging master window switch is one of the most common causes of window motor failure in Subaru Liberty, Outback, Forester, Impreza and Tribeca models.

For the best reliability, replace the master switch when installing the new motor. Proof of purchase and installation of a replacement master switch is required for warranty claims involving electrical burnout.

Hi, very happy with how fast it was delivered and the price seemed very reasonable. Just a couple of technical problems, one of the threaded holes was in the wrong place but I managed to thread the bolt into the plastic of the empty hole and the wiring was about 50mm shorter than the original motor but was able to get around that.
